 AMETEK Switch Type SAW, SAS, and SBD Solenoids Switches are designed to switch inductive loads in DC circuits up to 36 volts. These metal-enclosed switches employ a moving contact disk for high performance and are especially resistant to damage from road debris, making them suitable for controlling a wide variety of loads.

AMETEK Switch Type SAS Solenoids Switches are available with 100 amps or 200 amps current rating for use in either intermittent heavy duty (10 min. max on time) or continuous duty applications.  The contact configuration is Single Pole Single Throw, Normally Open (SPST NO).  Various mounting configurations and wiring options are available. The electrical life rating for the SAS solenoid switches is 50,000 cycles and the 2 piece heavy duty metal case is zinc plated for maximum corrosion protection.  UL Approved versions are available.
